Sometimes knowing things is stupid. This collection of poems I picked up by Neruda, however, made me feel feelings. Some were good, some were bad, some were funny and some were uncomfortable. But I got them. Well, some of them. Some I just had no clue what was I have been having a hard time "getting" poetry. Some I just had no clue what was going on but it was alright because when I had some feeling it made poetry come alive.
And not just this poetry, others as well. I found myself with an intense interest to see others. I found some on Tumblr blogs and picked up some new books at my local book store. I continue to commit myself to trying out and exploring this part of writing and even trying it myself.

Odas Elementales Pablo Neruda
Neruda no intenta explicarlo o alegorizarlo.
