At 71 years young, his posts on his Facebook are inspirational! He is still going strong with weapons-work, kettlebells, etc!! Not only does he work with Bowies, tomahawks, and his sword, "Suigetsu", but also with Bagua Deer Knives! I treasure those 2 books. A wealth of information is an understatement!

I treasure those 2 books. A wealth of information is an understatement! Then he published The Fighting Kukri which I also treasure. His books cover fighting concepts, the history of the weapon, training methods, scenarios and more. His attention to detail in his illustrations is evident as he is trying to express motion in his linework to bring out the teachings.
Not only a consummate Martial Artist, but an artist, a historian, a researcher, and a teacher! Dwight C. McLemore is a retired combat arms officer with the U. The founder of the School of Two Swords, McLemore is rated expert level with the American Knife Congress, is certified in kung fu, and holds 1st dan in kendo.
Posting some videos I found on YouTube in his honor! Happy Birthday Mac!!! Many many more to come!
McLemore was married to the former Kathyrne Duff President Harry Truman , whose Fair Deal policies the businessman strongly opposed. McLemore in carried the endorsement of Leander Perez , the political boss of Plaquemines Parish and former Thurmond supporter, who at first had toyed with the candidacy of Lucille May Grace , the register of state lands. The publication declared that McLemore "tells the same story in every parish" [and did not gear his message for a specific audience, locality, or region]. All the big ones are pledged to other candidates.
McLemore has carved out a niche for himself writing books recreating or describing techniques of historical of armed combat. His work on bowie knife fighting techniques, for instance, is well known among fans of the subject. In this book, McLemore takes on the task of describing the ways in which ancient Roman Gladiators fought and offers training methods showing how a modern weapons enthusiast or historical re-enactor could train to fight in a similar style. To properly evaluate this book, two important factors need to be understood. First, although McLemore knows a great deal about historical and modern hand to hand combat and weapon fighting techniques, very few details of the training and fighting techniques of the Roman gladiators were recorded. Almost none have survived to the present day.
